JR was born in Terre Haute, IN and grew up in Brazil and Terre Haute, IN. He started recording his raps and making demos when he was around 18 years old. Since then he has came a long way & in 2009 he started doing several shows in the clubs in Indianapolis & also performed on the "Hood Celebrity Tour" & the "Indianapolis Black Expo". That same year his song "Cadillac Whips" from his 2009 album "Hoodstar" recieved spins on several different radio stations across the country. In early 2011 he went to Nashville, TN to start working with Blackfly Music Label on his latest project "Digital Dope" which includes features from Lil Wyte, JellyRoll, Ruka Puff, Charlie P, OJ Da Juiceman & Wild from the Dirty Boiz. He has opened up for Headliners such as Huey, Lil Wyte, Ruka Puff, HollyHood & more.
