Mental Mike, AKA Tha Mentality, is a solo artist out of San Antonio, TX. Born June 2, 1991, Mike has always been a big fan of music ranging from all genres. He enjoys rap, rock, metal, hip-hop and even some old school flavor with interest in artists such as Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Brotha Lynch Hung, Hopsin, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica and Paegan, just to name a few. Growing up, Mike has always had a creative mind. He would use that creativity to write stories, movie scripts and to make short films. But as he went into middle school, he realized that his true passion was music. He had tremendous rhyming ability and could always apply his vocabulary to tell a story. In his middle school days he enjoyed rapping with friends just for fun and sometimes just to impress the females. People would always let him know how much they enjoyed his rhymes and would always tell him to try rapping in the future, and with that constant encouragement, he eventually made it his destiny to share his thoughts with everybody in song. Mike began rapping in a small group of 3 artists including himself and 2 of his close friends called "Bloody Nature". But eventually they came to realize that it wasn't for all of them and disbanded the group. But Mike knew it's what he wanted and decided to pursue a solo career. Now you can get a taste of "Mentality 101" with Mental Mike's sick sound and dark theme as he shares his thoughts with you. Mental Mike is a true talent on the mic, and he hopes that you, the listeners, will hear his songs and soon become followers of, "The Mentality".
